I tidied some of the mess left by winter storms, trimmed here and there and cut the grass. Immediate improvement!
Even better when I straightened the bird table and rearranged a couple of potted shrubs.
I was glad to see the Acer has survived and is starting to bud. Quite a miracle after all it’s been through these last couple of years! But no sign of anything on the Labernum or Stag’s Horn yet.

Such impatience is pretty stupid. Wouldn’t we quickly get bored that way, and probably take it all for granted? Different plants bloom at different times so that there is always a variety of beauty and colour, they just need a little patience and ‘TLC’!
The same goes for us and the people in our lives. Perhaps in time we can blossom again too. With a little bit of patience and loving care!
The Bible demonstrates how God works His plans out in the lives of individuals and even nations. He knows what He will bring to pass, even if from our perspective things appear confusing, or to be taking longer than we would choose.
We’re instructed to ‘wait’ and pray. (Jeremiah 29 v 11-13)
