‘Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’
So promises Jesus Christ, Son of God in Matthew 7 v 33.
‘I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation…whether living in plenty or in want…and my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.’
So writes the Apostle Paul, one of Jesus’ early followers, in Philippians 4.
And here’s the thought:
Even a jungle becomes a land of promise, ‘flowing with milk and honey’ for those who content themselves in Christ, and ‘seek first’ God’s will for their lives.
